3/8 x 24 Threaded Antenna Stud Mount with 1.5 inch nut
The importance of the stud mount cannot be over stressed! The antenna stud mount acts as a bridge between the antenna and the coaxial feedline. Accordingly, it needs to allow for efficient transfer of your transmitted and received signals to and from the transceiver. If the stud mount doesn’t perform that task efficiently you end up with unneeded loss. Also, the stud mount must be strong enough to withstand all of the stress placed upon it from an antenna that is subject to wind load and vibration.
These stud mounts have become the standard of our industry. We saw what was out there, listened to customer complaints about other manufacturer’s products and what features they would like improved and we executed on those. Instead of inferior materials we used chrome plated machine brass and stainless steel where stresses are greatest. Instead of inferior nylon we opted for the far superior PTFE.
