QC sleeve for standard crimp on UHF-male
Silver Plated Brass Body
Detailed Product Information
This QC sleeve is the most efficient way to turn a crimp on UHF male connector into a quick connect connector. This QC sleeve is used instead of the screw on sleeve that comes with all crimp on UHF connectors. Replacing the sleeve, instead of having to add a QC adapter is the lowest loss method of achieving the quick connect connection type.
The UHF male interface (also known as a PL-259 connection) is by far the most popular connection type used in Amateur Radio.
Installing this QC sleeve onto a connector already installed on a piece of coax is done in only two steps
Unscrew the outer shell of your connector back onto the coax.
Tip: You can either let the outer shell loosely hang onto your piece of coax OR grab a piece of tape and tape in onto the coax.
Screw the QC sleeve into place from the front of the connector’s main body.
Your crimp on UHF male connector has now been converted into a quick connect version without adding the loss from adding an adapter.
