316 Stainless Steel Pulley. The maximum load of this pulley FAR exceeds the weight capacity of our mast system. This pulley can accept rope up to 1/4 inch in diameter, but is perfect for use with our 1/8 inch Black Dacron rope. The roller and body are very close in tolerance to not allow the rope to migrate off the roller. Use this pulley to help hoist light weight objects to the top of your mast such as wire antennas.
Mark your Tube and Rod, with a maximum outer diameter of 1 inch, 1 inch down (or in) from the end.
Drill a 3/16″ hole all the way through. Be sure not apply much force to the drill. Let the drill bit eat its way through slowly and deliberately. If too much force is applied you can “punch-through” the other side instead of having a nice clean hole.
Insert the 3/16″ I-Bolt. If it does not slide in freely, screw it into place until the nut seats flush to the tube. Screw on the nylon lock washer on the rear side.
Attach the shackle and pulley. Unscrew the shackle and push the shackle through the I-Bolt. It could be a tight fit, but it will fit. With the shackle still open put on the pulley. Screw the shackle screw back in and it will be ready to operate.
