Fixed inductor, 21 microhenry
This inductor consists of 18 turns of plated copper wire, (about 16 gauge) wound over a grooved form of ferrite or powdered iron to increase inductance.
The form is 1.5 inches in diameter, and one is shown in the photo, removed from mount and with wire removed for illustration.
The core and coil are enclosed in a frame of G-10 fiberglass which measures 2 inches X 2 inches X 2 inches. The core has a hole through the center, about 3/8 inches in diameter.
- Condition: mil-spec, removed from military equipment. Sprayed with a light coating of protective varnish for service in extreme environments.
