Bias Insertion Unit (locking)
Description
Used with slotted lines, the 1602-B Admittance Meter, and 1609 UHF Admittance Bridge for immittance and similar measurements when bias is to be applied to diodes, transistors, and other solid-state devices. It comprises a blocking capacitor in series with the line, an isolating chose, and a low-pass filter. In slotted-line measurements, the unit is inserted at the source end of the line and therefore introduces no reflections at the measurement terminals. 50 OHM impedance, locking GR-874 connectors.
