Assembly Instructions for 15 & 30 Amp contacts

To crimp the 15 & 30 amp contacts it is recommended that you insert the wire into the contact prior to inserting them into the tool. Then, with the flat side of the contact down, insert the contact tip thru the proper slot for crimping. Align the round portion of the contact, centered in the crimper die, with the wire sleeved inside the contact as far as it will go. Squeeze the ratcheting crimper all the way till the tool releases. When the ratchet mechanism releases you have fully crimped the contact.

Assembly Instructions 45 Amp

To crimp the 45 amp contact it is recommended that you position the tip of the 45 amp contact thru the 45 amp slot before the wire is inserted. Make sure the contact is properly positioned with the U (open contact) facing up. If the contact is lying sideways you may not obtain a proper crimp. Insert your wire into the inserted contact. Squeeze the ratcheting crimper all the way till the tool releases. When the ratchet mechanism releases you have fully crimped the contact.

Assembly Instructions for 75 Amp contacts

To crimp the 75 amp contacts it is recommended that you insert the wire into the contact prior to inserting them into the tool. Then, with the flat side of the contact down, insert the contact tip thru the proper slot for crimping. Align the round portion of the contact, centered in the crimper die of the slot that is indicated by the number “75”, with the wire sleeved inside the contact as far as it will go. Squeeze the ratcheting crimper all the way till the tool releases. When the ratchet mechanism releases you have fully crimped the contact.
